The Victory Services Club is a hive of activity all year round. With the phone in the Events team office constantly ringing and email enquiries coming in all the time, it’s vital that the team continues to grow and evolve in order to be able to continue offering all its clients excellent service. The team’s newest member is Krisztina Milt who joined the VSC in mid-October last year. We caught up with her to ask how everything is going.
Kris has had a varied and interesting career which has equipped her for the busy Events Team office. “Before I joined the VSC. I worked as a freelancer with an agency, matching brands to some of the best creative agencies. Before that, I was at the Royal Aeronautical Society, working as their conference organiser. At the same time, I was looking into setting up a cake business of my own. I was also working freelance, assisting with CRM and marketing. By autumn last year, when I saw the VSC ad, I felt that I was ready to move back to a permanent role, especially as I had missed working in events so much. I loved the idea of working in a venue and with my background in aviation and space at the Royal Aeronautical Society, RAeS, I felt that a military club was the ideal place for me.”
Kris joined just before the Christmas rush and very much enjoyed the festive bustle. “I worked on a number of members’ events and dinners, the Huawei Christmas Dinner, the Tri-Service conference and the New Year’s Eve party.”
Kris is particularly enjoying showing potential clients around the venue, talking to them about its history and illustrating the huge potential of the space. She is also looking forward to 2020 and to continued growth. “We love meeting new clients and helping them to organise their events, I am looking forward to the summer weddings and to growing the events business. I love working with the team – it’s super fun.”
As the Events Team look forward to another busy year, their new Events Co-Ordinator is very much on board. Here’s to a successful 2020!
